Twitter is my number one source for new subscribers to my newsletter list. It works great for list building. It also is great for finding and building relationships with people in your target market. However, it will not work for you over night. You have to give it time and work with it for 15-20 minutes daily.

Hi Yash, Welcome to SSWT :)

I have my Twitter Strategy broken down in this post on my blog:

I find it VERY effective for making deals, getting traffic, increasing sales, looking for freelancers, etc, etc, etc. I have the best response rate and conversion rate through Twitter than any other means. At this point I would hate to do without it!

I've found new customers, interview subjects and many new affiliates through Twitter :)

Twitter is successful for me in two ways. On my personal and main Twitter account I've networked and met great people, which has led to business referrals and new clients for my service based business.

On the other side of Twitter I have "niche" accounts that have made me some side income from various affiliate links that I've worked in during conversation.

I find Twitter to be a fascinating and fun tool to use in my business in any ways. As long as it's not abused or used for ill purposes, I think Twitter will definitely add to your successes.

Out of all of the social networking sites that are out there now, Twitter is by far the best in my opinion. I've found new clients and have boosted traffic to many of my sites which has increased my income. It really is a fun way to connect online as Loretta said and I hope this easy way of networking is around for the long haul.

For me, Twitter is a big winner!

I've found and been offered freelance jobs, built new business relationships and have a lot of people in my niches truly interested in what I have to say. It's a great way to network and pre-sell, if nothing else.

I think we've only scraped the tip of the Twitter iceberg so far.

I echo everyone else's love of Twitter. Twitter is great for driving traffic to my web site, new subscribers to my mailing list, as well as making sales, finding new JV partners and of course - just meeting a lot of nice folks.

For me, I use Twitter for business and Facebook primarily for personal. I do have a Facebook Fan Page, but find that those who follow me via Facebook also follow me on Twitter and they reply/respond more on Twitter.

Hey Garry,

That's a 75% bounce rate on what - your Twitter profile page, or on the pages you link to through tweets?

I have a great CTR and conversion via Twitter...
