I think you have come to the right place to get all your questions answered.
If your read all of Lynn's posts and the comments from the members here, you will be a very knowledgeable person on affiliaite marketing.

Try searching affiliate marketing on the forum and read some of the threads.
Generally find what you like to promote, build a blog or web site and then drive traffic to the site.
You may also want to eventually join Lynn's Elite mastermind group if you like what you find here and the people.

I'd love to know where you are on things - do you already have affiliate sites, or have you been studying affiliate marketing... and if so, what appeals to you most as far as methods or models?

I've tried plenty of those methods myself - remember the Google Cash method?? I lost revenue streams to the tune of ~$40k/year overnight with that slap. So I know how you feel, and I understand where you're at with it.

It's all of these "methods" and "strategies" to "make the big bucks" that really trip people up. It's one thing if you're already established and you can afford to dabble. Quite another when they're teaching this stuff to 'newbies' as a method of actually creating a 'business' out of it. Pfft!

I figured that page would be enlightening, because it basically spells out my model - I use SEO & short reports, and great content of course, to promote products. And I dont just promote ebooks, but physical products as well.

Regarding that last link, most of my affiliate sites for physical products are set up like an ecommerce site or online store - deep linking to the product page on the merchant's site.

I would definitely recommend you start with SEO Fast Start. Read through that first. Also see these videos by Rosalind Gardner on my blog:

The second video shows you one of her affiliate sites. That plus the two links I gave you above on writing reviews & online store type sites will probably be the best starting point for you.

I read and loved Rosalind Gardner's Super Affiliate Handbook, and I think you might get a lot out of it - but give that you already have some experience at affiliate marketing, that investment is totally up to you.
