I'm trying to decide if I'm gonna rent a car or not. Did anyone use the Marta or other forms of transportation?

I'm trying to decide the same thing. The Marta takes you as far as the Brookhaven station and then you have to wait for the shuttle. A shuttle van from the airport runs from about $30 per person each way. Nicole & I arrive around 9am so we're thinking of renting a car and have some mobility for a bit more than then $120 we'd be paying for a shuttle if I can find a decent rate. If we get the car, I'm sure we'd be happy to car pool if you're arriving around the same time & luggage fits ;D

Kurt is renting a car since he's leaving on Sat. so Regina, myself, MaryJo and Cindy will be riding to the hotel with him. As for going back to the airport Monday, I'm going to see if Sheryl and Adam can drop us off. I need to hit up the grocery store when I get there so I'll have to find someone to hitch a ride with:D

I'm thinking renting a car is a great idea! Especially now since the hotel has capped off the restaurants.com coupons for the time we are there, how rude lol. It will be much cheaper to eat meals off property.

Looking forward to NAMS, especially being open to the connections this time. See you there! Wondering about the transport to and from the airport, arriving around noon, probably taking the $30 shuttle, which seems most direct route.

Angie, really?! They won't honor the restaurant.com discount? That rots. Someone gave me $200 in gc's for them.
I'm not leaving until Tues so, I'm thinking a car so we can get to/from the airport, go out to eat if we want and make grocery/liquor store runs. :D

I'm going also, and am really looking forward to it! I just have to make sure I step outside my comfort zone and actually talk to people. :)

I remember reading that local restaurants will deliver to the hotel, so I guess that's always an option.

Tracy, yea bites. And cool, I'm looking for a ride to Trader Joe's and the grocery store. I have my grocery list almost planned out (that is if we can get a 2nd fridge in our room:)). Please let me know when you go to the store.
