Long story short...I'm looking to start rewriting plr articles for people. I have looked around online and found who my "competition" would be and I know I can offer better prices but not sure how to go about doing this.

Also would I take partial payment up front and the rest after the articles are finished/full payment up front or work first payment last?

I have my own domain and wordpress installed on it just not sure if I should put pay pal on it or just a contact me for more details type of thing...

I am new to this so not 100% sure how to go about this any feedback would be appreciated!

Thank you for your time and help(in advance)

I've done it both ways - paid upfront and paid on completion. Not for this particular service, but for services in general.

Starting out you'll probably want to work with a few people you know & trust, let them pay you on completion of the rewrites, and ask for feedback/testimonials to put on your website.

You can use the job boards to find this type of work - or Twitter. We have a Job Board section here at this forum and there is one at the Warrior Forum, Digital Point Forum and I am sure several others.

What's your rate if you don't mind me asking? Feel free to PM me on that.

I usually ask for half upfront and the other half on completion. If it is only a small order though I usually just ask when I give them back.

Depending on what you are charging you can also go to places like odesk.com and elance.com as well. I found though that the forums worked better because word gets around faster when people get to know you.

You may find out soon enough that you don't have to advertise much once you have worked for a couple marketers on forums such a warrior. A lot of people like to keep you once they find out they like your work.

Good luck. All the best.

I think half up front and half upon delivery is perfectly reasonable. You see this service requested a lot on freelance sites like getafreelancer.com (http://getafreelancer.com/) and elance.com (http://elance.com) and when you go through them they hold the payment in an escrow service for you until it's delivered. That might be a good way to get some testimonials on your work.

Another place I see this service requested fairly often is on internet marketing forums like Warrior Forum (http://www.warriorforum.com/) and Digital Point forums (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/)where you can post your service offer and have people contact you for the work. That's another good way to get testimonials when you're just starting out.

I hope that helps.

I'd just like to second the PM me. I have PLR I'd like rewritten and would help you with testimonials for sure for your new site. I'm used to paying when the job is done, but I don't have a problem at all paying half up front. Since I'm also a service provider I understand that getting stiffed for your work is not easy to pay bills. lol
