to get soooo excited when I see I have 2 - yes, count 'em - t.w.o. - followers on my blog!!! Wow, do I have a long way to go......
Still trying to make time to get some back linking going on, but it's still a bump to the ego knowing at least 2 people want to follow me.

Oh Tanya,
That's not silly at all. It's what keeps you going, celebrating Every. Single. Little. Success.

Tanya that's great. It feels good when someone actually decides to follow you because of what you write. Just think what it will be like when you have 100s.

It's good to embrace even the smallest successes, tends to keep motivated. Good news Tanya, keep up the good work. Consistency is one virtue that can help you climb up the ladder. All the best !!!

That's great Tanya! The thought that you got excited shows you're passionate about your blog and that every follower makes you happy. Continue to produce good-quality content often and work hard on building your backlinks to grow your traffic and followers. Every blogger starts from scratch. You will learn more tricks as you build your site and supporters.

Thanks everyone! I actually have 10 followers now with just a few posts. I'm still having serious procrastination issues and DH keeps asking when "we're" going to monetize (haha - we?). I think I'm ready but that procrastination still has a hold on me. I need to re-read Lynn's recent posts about that!
I have a weird issue with WP. When I check my stats on my office computer, I can see my followers, but when I check it on my laptop, they don't show up. Anyone have any ideas why this would be? I also have google search issues on my laptop, could it be a little bug in there? If so, does anyone have a great (free) malware or "bug" detector they use with great success. I've used some I found on bleepingcomputer and they apparently haven't been able to get what's "bugging" me!
Thanks everyone for your wonderful support and push that I greatly need!

Congrats on going in the right direction with traffic. I checked out your blog and your posts are great. I have never had an interest in stained glass either. I think it was the naked dragonflies that got my attention. :o

I'm not sure what you mean by see your followers. Can you explain?
As for your malware question, you might as Regina at WPSecurityLock (http://www.wpsecuritylock.com/). Here is here Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/wpsecuritylock) too where yo might ask your question.

It is exciting when you get people subscribe to your Blog! Like Angie - I'm wondering what you actually mean by "followers".
Anyway, for Malware I use this free programme - Malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org/). The person who 'treats' my laptop when it needs it suggested it to me and it's been great.
Hope that helps somewhat.
Caroline :)

Thank you all for your responses. When I say followers, I mean people who have subscribed to my blog. When in WP dashboard, at the bottom when I click on "Site Stats" then at the bottom of the Site Stats page, there is a box showing "Subscriptions". In that box there is a number of Followers for my blog and for comments. I can't see those subscriptions on my laptop, only a desktop computer. It's just a little strange to me.
