The first question I would ask is how were the names gathered. Could hundreds of thousands of MLM reps opt in in that short of a time span? If they aren't opt in, are they worth the price they're asking (or any price)?

I'm not in MLM and I've never purchased a lead for anything. I think you'll get a much better return on your investment if you generate your own targeted leads.

I am in MLM (SendOutCards (http://RoswellCardLady.com)) and am amused by the phone calls that come in, since they've "found" me on the internet. Seems every time Todd Falcone has a new training on "recruiting existing MLM'ers" or on auto-dialing systems, the phone calls increase.

In fact, I programmed my Caller ID for one out-of-state number "Prob Spam Aug 18" and he/she calls every 2 days, and I just click on "send to voicemail", whiere they never leave a message. Wow. It's kinda fun.

I used to call purchased leads, and the problem is either the people have no clue of how good MLM can be (and it CAN be), or else they have just invested $300 or $700 or whatever into their existing program and have no interest or inclination in trying a new one right now.

YMMV (your mileage may vary)

I just purchased a software that will web scrape them for you. So you can put in lets say....Global Resorts Network and a list of numbers, names will be scraped.....I just purchased it so I will have to let you know how it works out. But if its pulling from the web so it should be people who are actively doing or trying to do NWM or MLM and have websites.
It was cheaper than me constantly paying lead vendors and i dont trust what they send me half the time. I havent had a lot of luck with vendors.

Meredith....Do I understand correctly that you've purchased software to gather contact information from websites and then you're going to contact the site owners with your business opportunity offer?

If so please reconsider your plan!
