Building A list

Hello, What is the best way to build a list. I signed up for a safelist program where you sign up for all these free sites so that you can advertise for free on these safelist sites from the credits you receive from viewing the emails and clicking for credits. I am getting sign ups but it seems like alot of work. Does anyone have a solution ?Thank You !:)

There are dozens of ways to build a list, you could try solo ads, pop-up opt-in boxes on your blog, giveaways etc.

It depends on so many things what will work for you.

I believe safelists are a thing of the past, too much work for really no return. You want to advertise to relevant sites and get in front of your market. Things like social media and having a blog are going to be your best bet. You could then sign up for a mailing list provider like Aweber or Feedblitz and own your list. Then you would send out mailings to them on a regular basis.
