I have been online since late 2004 and created my first product niche in 2005. This niche is one of my passions and helps people build a specific type of business. I built this type of business from the ground up years ago, so I have first-hand experience on all the issues that anyone will encounter. Interesting to note I sold this niche and the new owner didn't like it so she actually gave it back to me! I was one of the first in this niche online and it has since been saturated. Although I was on page 1 in Google for over 6 years, I can't even get the site main page in the top 10 since Penguin. This niche is very specific, most start the business and give up, and I can't get them to buy anything after their initial purchase.
Since then I have created numerous products and websites covering a lot of niches, including flipping sites. I have offered client services on the web, written and published fiction and non-fiction Kindle books. I now want a passive business model that will server a wider market than I have had in the past
Even though I have done a lot since being online, I have yet to earn a steady income. Everything has taken a lot of work with little ROI. I'm kinda burned out at this point.
My original background is computer software and consulting going back to the 1970s, so technology is easy for me. Marketing is more difficult as I don't have that in my background, so I've had to learn it, but it doesn't come easy.
