Hello, My name is Bob. I am new to the forum. I am trying to figure out how to get started in Internet Marketing. I have been reading and listening to all kinds of stuff for about a year now and still can't get my bearings. I hope to be able to settle in and learn from you all. I need someone that I can talk to and ask questions and come to a better understanding of what I want to do. This looks like the place to do it.

If I were you, I would start following http://internetmarketingformommies.com/ This is Jackie Lee's site... I have found Jackie to be very helpful! She takes internet marketing and breaks it down into bite sized pieces that makes it very easy to follow!

Thank you all for your suggestions. I will take a look. Not to confuse the issue, I probably should have added to my post that I don't consider myself to be a blogger. I think I would rather build a static site.

Static sites are perfectly fine too! My main site is static and then I added a Wordpress blog on to it. But you can always use Wordpress, the blogging platform as a content management system/static site as well. So many options!
