I'm not sure of an article but I don't think it takes that long at all. Definitely less than a month I think.

I don't know of an authoritative article on the topic, but it doesn't take long at all. If you're talking about actual top 3 rankings, that depends on how competitive the keyword phrase and the overall niche is. For longtail keyword phrases, you can have top rankings in a matter of weeks...
Sandra, just out of curiosity, who told you that it takes 1-6 months to get indexed? That's completely false. I've had articles I've written indexed in as little as 30 minutes.Quote:
