Welcome! sounds like you will be a great addition!
Thanks Stephen. I believe so too! I see interaction and I'm about relationships so a drive to connect.

Hi Carol.
Welcome to the Elite program. Is the Ft Lauderdale conference next week, per chance, Suzanne Evans "Be the Change Event"? I will be at that one.
Lynn is going to be away, so you won't be missing next week's Elite chat.
Sheila,
Yes, yes, Suzanne Evans event. Yeah, I can't wait to meet you. Please twitter me so we can touch base: @carolgiambri
Will be there Wed. eve. around 4PM and leaving super early Sun. AM Ft. Lauderdale airport!
Cool, Carol. very exciting.
I live about 50 min from hotel. Commuting from home THurs AM with a guest whom I invited to stay with me. We will be staying in a close by hotel Thurs and Fri night. Thurs night I will be leaving after the day program to have dinner with my son and family, celebrating granddaughter's 18th birtday, then going back to hotel.

Sheila,
It's such a small world Sheila. Got BIL North Miami, but no time for just a bed one nigh. Can you also FB me as more than 140 characters possible. Carol Rosenberg Giambri
Off to twitter you back.
Also where are the transcripts found as went to elite but must be missing it?
Thanks.
Carol, colorado
Carol,
The transcripts are above the private forum under Webinar Archives.
Angie,
I found all I was looking for because of your greatness and helpfulness under Webinar Archives. I noticed a monthly call. Do we get an email? Or is there are a calendar at site where everything is posted. I'm on MAC and using it's calendar first time so making use of applying vs. just being a hearer. Thanks.
carol
Hi Carol
I believe you are the Apple Mac fan I saw enthusing after Lynn opened her macbook pro :) ... welcome to the forum ...
Have fun at your conference you guys ...
Jane

HI Jane in the UK,
Know Bernadette Doyle's name there?
Thanks for welcome and yes BIG fan of Apple; however, they changed their one to one policy and I have a 2 WEEK wait to get in for a one to one training I paid for and love. I will be voicing my mind. They decided they will only offer those services in the morning. I thought it would be okay, but not the case. So when I deliver goodies probably tomorrow for Valentine's Day I will also be kindly worded about dissatisfaction about this change. Affects excellent customer service when we have to wait weeks and not just a few days. All is cool.
You tell 'em girl ... My nearest is about 60-miles so I've only been over there a couple of times (when absolutely necessary) :( ...
However they've been amazing over the phone with every which way's of questions ... We're not used to such quality of service in the UK ... sorry UK but we know we're busted on that one! I thought it might be because they're a USA co. Is it thought to be exceptional in the US or pretty standard ...
You're going to love the forum ... They're a lovely bunch ...
Jane
Carol,
Yes, you should get an email before each elite webinar. There is one monthly webinar and then of course the weekly ones on Thurs. There will not however be any webinars next week as Lynn will be traveling but you would find all elite webinar passwords in the private forum.
Jane,
Thanks for the warm welcome. I can already feel the love of all here.
Interesting UK doesn't have same standards of customer service but truthfully not all companies either operate like Apple.
Hugs, carol
Welcome to Elite Joe! Glad to have you over there.
Is it reasonable and polite to ask how many Elite members there are currently?
Reasonable question but one I'm not able to answer because I have no idea;)
I'm sure there are hundreds HOWEVER I can say they are not all fully active when it comes to participating in the elite forum or on the weekly elite webinars.
Let me know if you have more questions! Happy to help if I can.
I just read your article. Every word you wrote seems to be my thought..always "bouncing" back and forth with ideas, always out there on some "horizon" never being able to reach it. I'm glad my experience is solely my own. Thanks for sharing.
I just upgraded to an
Elite member.. My hubby and I are so happy to be starting our new venture :)
Hi Swimmom,
I'm in a bit of a dilemma at the moment. Lynn referred me over to Kelly McCausey's site because I want to teach small businesses about blogging. I can't belong to both memberships, so I have to choose. Maybe one at a time, but I still want to be a part of both forums.
What do you do, and how long have you been here?
Im a SAHM for 16 years, and did real estate in NJ for 7 years....and my husband has been in management consulting for a very long time :) but we have done other ventures which unfortunately weren't successful..Hoping that this one will be :)
We found Lynn's website about a month ago and since I belong to other types of forum's I was excited to see she had one :) as I feel it is always good to bounce things off of other people...and Networking is such a great thing to do..
Lady Hawk, I am not in action and recent member. I love listening to what Lynn says with others and it's about acting to see it happen or fail. You can hear the programs on Tues. still, but you won't be in the Elite if not member; which is adding more value to you? Lynn has tons of great info. and wisdom. I don't know the other name. Ask Lynn what she would do as she is very upfront. She holds back no truth. The ones I am devoted to are those who are real! Best on your decision for which one. Can you have less dinners outside, or a movie or two saved or such to invest in both? Not saying you aren't doing that already, but still in case you didn't think of that I did.
Hi Carol,
I am absolutely sure that both places would be the ideal, but my concern is that I won't keep up with everything. I'm such so disorganized (where's the Fly Lady!) and multi-tasking is not my forte.
Also, my problem is that I have a difficult time focusing and narrowing down. It's like a buffet, I like everything!
I got involved in the 30 Day Challenge with Ed Dale several years ago. Unfortunately, I was still teaching and couldn't put forth the time, but it did peak my interest. There was no doubt in my mind that the internet was the new wave of the future and it was where entrepreneurial minds could get a lift.
Now that I've dabbled a bit and found that my writing isn't half bad, I want to combine it with the ability to teach. The problem with that is that I have to know my stuff and be well acquainted with the content.
This is where I am at the moment.
Lady Hawk, I totally understand. I feel sometimes like I am a candy store junkie, but I am in great programs. At least here you can store away those chats and also transcript I believe too.
Some of my coaches say you just have a bit ahead of some that are less versed. For example: to a 2nd grander, a 3rd grader seems like they are so smart.
Ultimately you have to decide your course of action. I know even not being active in some investment groups, I save their material and find it useful. Best to ya and again, I can understand where you are at. You are not alone!!

Lady Hawk,
It's a tough decision. There are a lot of people in Lynn's elite group that do what you're looking to do as far as helping local companies bring a blog online. Both Lynn and Kelly are wonderful mentors though so whichever you choose you'll be in good hands. If you have any questions about the elite group feel free to send me a PM here on the forum.
I'm a member of Mom Masterminds also with Kelly but I think you're talking about her new program that just started is that correct?
Would it interest you to teach teachers? Here's an idea that might be suitable for someone with your experience, talents and interests.
As we know, there are many members here who are making decent or better money, working all by themselves.
Imagine that hundreds of people came together and cooperated to build a site. Such a site could become a serious income producer, right?
Who is in a position to do this?
One group that comes to mind are high schools.
As we all know, schools across the country are struggling with budget crunches, and even in the best of times, our education system needs all the help it can get.
Imagine a high school that has 1,000 students, 2,000 parents, 100 teachers, and a supportive local community. If these people put their minds to it, they could create a website that would generate significant new funding for the high school.
Plus, even more important, the kids would learn real world job skills they could put to use immediately upon graduation. Not many high school classes offer that.
Your experience, communication skills, and desire to teach might put you in a position to explain this opportunity to school districts all over the country. Or maybe PTA organizations?
You could perhaps become the nation's leading reporter on this issue, create a website on the topic with Adsense ads, and start writing, writing, writing.
Just a rough idea of course, brainstorming, it may not be relevant to your goals at all.
Best of luck!
If it were me... :) ... I would take Kelly's course and focus 100% on that, since that is exactly what you want to do. After you complete the course and you are putting the pieces into place, come back here and join us as an Elite Member (Kelly is an Elite Member as well) and we'll help you start, grow & manage your business.
It's very easy to get distracted, and to find yourself in too many places at once. It has taken me a lot of self-discipline over the years (and still constantly working on it) to make things happen. I admire the fact that you recognize that upfront as a potential issue. Do what you think will work best for you ;)
I was finally able to wrangle together the money for the elite group and I am so excited!! I can hardly wait for the info to arrive. I've been checking my email like every minute! I'm like a kid at Christmas!
Kathleen
I can see that your upgrade was successful, so you should be able to access the private areas of the forum now :) If you have any problems with that, just let me know!
Welcome to elite Kathleen! Glad to have you join the awesome group.
Now is a great time to join Elite membership since it will be closing soon to new members.
Be sure to send me a message if you decide to join from my link below in my signature where it says "Join Lynn Terry's Elite membership".
I want to offer a nice welcome gift to you to help you in your on line business. It is available to you as soon as I get a notice from Lynn Terry about your new membership under my affiliate link. If you want to know more about the membership you can read about it on my blog where I wrote an extensive review. You can leave any questions there that you might have before you join us on the inside. The link to my blog is also below in my signature.
Lynn, Thank you very much for the review of my website in yesterday's Elite brainstorming hour. It was the best review I have ever received and I am taking action today to implement the changes you and the other elites suggested during the private membership webinar yesterday. Yea!
I seem to remember there is an affiliate program for the Elite Membership. If yes, can you direct us to information about it? Thanks.
There is actually a thread at http://www.selfstartersweeklytips.co...read.php?t=983 with the signup link. That thread is in the elite area so I'm assuming you have to be an elite member and signed in to view it.
I'm not a mod but I can confirm it's a members only affiliate program.
The thread actually even starts with this sentence:
"This is a closed members-only affiliate program. Please do not share this link!"
Ah, ok, that clears it up. Thanks!
Thank you for that!
Yes, it is a closed program - only available to Elite Members. You really need to be a member in order to recommend it to others. For obvious reasons :)
Hmm... Ok.
Well, I know you, and will recommend you, based on the years of personal experience data available to me. In other words, I trust you to be running a good membership site, whether I'm a member or not. I don't have to see it to believe it.
I'm happy with that plan, hope you are too.
