Default Should I Monetize My Blog?

Ok so most of you might know me from my stay boosted blog..

Gary(GanderCo) and I put the blog together specifically to give back and not to try and sell anything. But, We both know that its to our advantage to Monetize it.

So our problem we are facing is we don't want it to look like We are trying to sell because we don't want to loose readers

    Should we monetize it?
and if so How could we do so with out it looking like we're just about the money?

    CJ,

I'm far from the person to share monetizing tips AND you certainly are in the right place here.

On the other hand, I did want to point out that I went to your blog and watched the Tony Robbins video,"When Hope is Gone", and was quite moved. Then, putting myself in another visitors shoes, I was left with "What's next?" "Where do I go to get this for myself?"

You could certainly be finding affiliate programs, maybe with one of Tony Robbins companies, that would then be offering some answers for people.....

In this cases giving them some options for calls to action becomes, I say, almost a responsibility of ours when we're putting something like this out, in serving the other person. - Now, I have to remind myself as that.

(Actually, for the record, having done years of courses in Landmark Education, participated in some of Harv Eker's programs, as well as others, I do know places where I could go... I even broke a board at a Tony Robbins company workshop several years ago)
