Which is one of the reasons I really want to get this site up and going. But, I have a question thats been on my mind.
How much content should a site like this have before I launch it? I kind of feel like if I launch it with only a general tips section and an article on 1 location it would be a waste and would be off putting to people that visit.
Should I wait till I have a number of articles on different locations?
A site is not like a product, it doesn't need an official "launch". Just get the domain, get the site up, and work on it as you go. Set up your social channels, then get at least five different posts up, and then start socializing while you continue creating content - and keep going from there.
Thats good to know! I was thinking that people would come to my site and see limited information and just leave and never return lol.
Another question I have is, what methods of monitization do you think are best for a site such as this? I'm having a hard time thinking of affiliate programs that would work, the only thing I can think of is Google Ads or something like that.
My issue with ad programs is that they can make a site look so cheap, especially when overdone.
This is the traveling site right? There are a lot of options, luggage, travel deal affiliate programs, hotels, the list is endless. So methods would be affiliate marketing, brand advertising/sponsored posts, Adsense and things like that.
