Last week I purchased the Niche Blueprint Success course and am reading the 2nd module right now. So I thought I'd join Lynn's forum here and say hello.
To be honest, I was ready to give up the ghost with IM, having been trying for more than 4 years now and spent what little precious money I had on various courses and not seeing any return.
I like Lynn's Niche Brainstorming ideas, but whenever I see examples of niche ideas, they always make it seem so easy. My interests don't seem to be profitable, but I'll keep trying.
Everything looks easier when it's live and in the works. Just know that those people started with an idea, struggled with the idea, had to get it all set up, figured things out along the way, etc TOO. ;-)
If you want to share some of your interests here, I'm happy to brainstorm a bit with you!
Lynn, thanks for your reply. My main interests are:
Numerology,
Football,
Spirituality (healing)
Genealogy,
PC Maintenance (speed/virus checking)
If money and time were no object... 1) I'd like to help others in some healing capacity, 2) I'd like to explore Thailand more (my wife is Thai), 3) I'd like to really explore the meaning behind life.
I recently purchased the domain name..."UpTheGunners.Com" as my football passion is with Arsenal FC. Do you think this could be a good idea to start with Lynn?
I would be cautious about using a domain that includes a team name (in this case, nickname) that may be trademarked or otherwise legally protected. It may be fun for a "personal fan blog" but I wouldn't invest all of your time and energy into that given you could lose the domain down the road.
Numerology, the meaning of life, spiritual healing - those are interesting topics. If you put them all under one umbrella, what would you call it?
One thing I like to do when brainstorming "words" is look at wikipedia listings and thesaurus.com for each of the words that come to mind, and see if any similar words stand out to me. It's great for "wordspiration". In this case, it all delves into the topic of "divinity" by definition, or things "divine". Something like "ExploringDivinity.com" - which is available - might work.
There is a video game called Divinity too I think, so there may be some confusion there. Although your optimization and site theming will take care of that.
Another domain idea is "UnlockingTheMeaning.com" or "UnlockTheMeaning.com" (both are available). That is general enough to talk all things spiritual or of deeper meaning and/or open for interpretation and various beliefs.
