Default Getting My Foot In The Door

I'm a new member to the forum so hoping I can get some useful advice. I have adept experience with online marketing as i have been involved with it before..Just made too many mistakes as a beginner and ended up falling off. Now that i am trying to make my way back into the field i wish i still had all my content but oh well..

Basically i need help getting my feet in the door with what i want to be doing. If i have ideas for niche markets/topics i need to know how to implement them properly so im not just starting another blog with no idea where to begin or how to take proper action. Anyone can start a blank slate blog and post an article about something they like but that creates no engagement.

Ive read through many of the articles on ClickNewz and as many of you probably have, gone through a few training modules. Ive done my brainstorming exercises and attempted keyword searches (unfortunately wordtracker is no longer free any suggestions with the same info WT provides??) and need to figure out that first step and direction into driving my interests into markets.

Simplistically put; I dont know where to begin with creating an affiliate market around my topics/niches/interests. There are always 100 different resources revolving around the same topics on how to do this that explain it in only a sightly different way. I may be overthinking and over analyzing my steps but this is always the most frustrating part of jumping back in to me..

If anyone could reply with successful steps they took to get up and running with examples of how they did so that would be great. There is a lot that goes into getting a site noticed and ranked other than just posting. Ide like to get started right away but want to do this right this time.

    Hi Chaz,

Which NSB Module are you on now? I walk through all of that step by step (in order) in the weekly training modules, so you may not be far enough in yet... ? Also, have you picked a single niche/topic and set it up, or are you still brainstorming that?

I decided to stay with WordTracker. I'm VERY picky about my data sources. They have given me a special link to get 25% off the WordTracker monthly plans - the Bronze Plan (which is what I would use) comes to only $20/month with our discount.

    Here is the discount link.

You get the first week free (trial) as well, so that helps. At just $20.25/month it's well worth it considering I use it daily and definitely get a return on that investment.

Thank you for the links I'll most likely invest .. As for the modules I just finished module 2 and am waiting number 3... I sent you my objective worksheet to review if you have the time so you know what I am thinking and I can also send you my brainstorming exercise sheet to review as well .. It was sent to your gmail I'm sure that's flooded daily though.. If you would like to review to give me some advice on a next step to take based on my ideas I'll send them both to you wherever you would like that way I know I have solid ideas and not just topics... Thank you again look forward to your next response

I've been out sick for two straight weeks, so I apologize for the delay Chaz... but I've just sent you a reply to your email. ;-) *cheers*

The more you do to find a profitable market the better. What you can do besides keyword research is also do is search for successful books on Amazon. See what's selling. If it's selling that would be a niche to consider. You can add, going to the search engines and typing in your niche and see if people are advertising. If they are, go back next month to see if they are still advertising. If they are that would be another point to add for a successful niche. Also get into the funnel of some of the people that are in the same niche. See what they're doing, do what they are doing and improve or add the things they are missing. Those are some more ways but I believe you have to do them all because having a keyword that has less competition might mean that nobody finds it to be a successful niche. Views really mean nothing unless you have everything, once they optin or buy, in place. But researching all these tips is generally going to find something that is somewhat a profitable niche and maybe a long term one. I might suggest going into a very competitive niche and be the best for your demographic, for the people that are just attracted to you and be the best there by providing top level information with a matching solution. Just some suggestions.
