Thread: Selling my 4 websites

    Default Selling my 4 websites

I have 4 websites that are all in the same area of interest. Creating multiple sites that are linked together is something that I do easily, you can see them all here at www.peacefulaudio.com. My weakness is in promoting but i have been told that since i have them all set up, ecommerce ready, affiliate pages, autoresponder in place etc. this has value in itself. The sales are low but only due to my lack of promoting because it's not my strong point. I'm sure they could do well with someone that enjoys the promotion part of things.
Are sales the main criteria in valuing the worth of all sites as a package? I need some advice on this if possible.
    Thanks
    Teresa :-)

    Hi Terri

Flippa is one of the bigger sites to sell/flip websites, but yes - the value there is typically based on revenue and/or revenue potential. People do like to buy working and/or profitable websites though, and there are many places you can list them online. The Warrior Forum also has a section for this I believe.

Have you considered outsourcing the marketing, or teaming up with a marketing partner for a revenue split?

Also, I'm curious why you create multiple sites that are linked together vs more of an authority site on the topic?

Lynn is right. You can consider teaming up in marketing instead of selling it. Your profit is continue unlike when you sell your 4 websites. Maybe you will earn money but what is your fallback after selling it?

Thank-you, I did not sell my sites yet but decided to work on them even more. The one authority site is peacefulaudio.com which has a blog for the home page and 4 other audio programs are linked to peacefulaudio as it serves as a portal for a complete membership for all of my audio programs. I hope that helps explain it.
As for "outsourcing the marketing, or teaming up with a marketing partner for a revenue split?" as Lynn suggested who would do something like that? How do you know if they are reputable or any good or trustworthy?
I am open to suggestions and willing to work with a partner even if I was to meet someone here on this forum perhaps but open to all suggestions.

The easiest way to do that would be to set up an affiliate program, and recruit affiliates to market your products FOR you in exchange for commission - so you're only paying based on performance.
