Question Any thoughts about Keyword Elite 2.0?

    Hi Lynn and all,

About a month ago I tried Keyword Elite 2.0, and I have about another month before the refund period runs out. So far I can see some benefits, but it's expensive. Does anyone know about this program and do you have an opinion about it's benefits vs. cost. Basically I'm wondering, "Do you think it's worth the $200 it cost?" I'm a newbie, but working at this as much as I can.

    Thanks for your input,

I've haven't used Keyword Elite, but I've heard some great things about it from people who have purchased it, so no doubt it is great software. Here is a question for you: have you been able to earn your $200 back by using it? If not, do you think you will within the next month? If the answer is no to both questions, or if you don't think you will earn anywhere near the $200 you paid for it, then it may be best to get a refund for now, and re-order it at a later time when you are earning more money online.

    Welcome Art,

What were your plans when you bought it? Or what is your business/marketing model?

    This is some great advice.

I couldn't have put it better myself!

If you can recoup that cost, keep it and go for it. Be sure you have answers to Lynn's questions before deciding.

Default Thanks for the replies and here's what I'm thinking

    Hi all,

Thanks, getagrip, for your helpful words. They follow along with my thinking, except for the dilemma I fall in to sometimes about grabbing a tool in anticipation of it's being useful in the future. My first campaign was marketing a good friend's excellent but expensive ($2997) 5 month book coaching and writing program. I didn't/haven't made any money from this, mainly because it's so much money in a tight economy. I thought of it primarily as a test case for learning some basic skills. I succeeded in getting my first squidoo lens indexed in the top ten for my keywords! I've also written an article which has been accepted at EZA.
To respond to your questions, Lynn, my first plan is to use KE to research keywords related to some niches related to my primary field of counseling and psychotherapy. I'm developing some products, and I wanted KE to tell me whether I was wasting my time or not. It's proven worthwhile so far in that area.
I'm also working on IM/AM to learn about sending traffic to my personal and niche websites that I'm developing. Beyond that, I'm having fun with it to create passive revenue streams for myself since I'm mostly dependent on reimbursements from stingy insurance companies who NEVER give me a raise! I'm mostly targeting niches and keywords related to my main field, although I'm definitely happy to earn money from other stuff, too.
Sorry for the long answer. I appreciate everyone's feedback.

It sounds to me like you're getting your money's worth with it so far, then?

I think so, although no money has come in directly from it. It seems more advanced than I am right now. I'm hoping I "grow into it." How do you evaluate purchases like this? I like what getagrip had to say, but do you have other criteria you use?

Thanks for the great information and forum,

It's a good reply (above) but it's also a sort of catch-22 situation. The whole point of the software is to get you to the point of earning more money online. So if you wait until you're earning more money online to buy it - assuming you've figured out how to do research & target keywords without it, then do you even need it?

When I choose to buy a product, my goal is to put it to work for me. I buy it with the intention of making it part of my system or process, or to achieve a specific goal.

You might consider going back over the sales page and looking back at the points that compelled you to buy it. Figure out what your objective is with the software... and put it to work for you!
