    Regina, does the basecamp now have a way to track time in it? I liked basecamp, that was just the only issue I had with it a year ago. I think it's good to shop the options every once in a while

    Cindy, I see several people recommending MS Project. I saw that one of your requirements is that it be web-based. Another is that it would not cost much.

    I am a certified project manager, managing software development projects for an insurance company using both agile and traditional methods.

    Can you describe what you want to accomplish with project management software? I may be able to steer you in the right direction. If you would like to talk on the phone, send me a PM.

    I also use Microsoft Project because the features are useful. The program accomplishes tasks easier, including managing your time and resources.

    I sure like DeskAway.com. It's very similar (as in almost exactly the same) as Basecamp, but priced a bit better.

    I've used both.
