That won't make any difference. EZA uses sophisticated software to check for plagiarism and/or duplicate content. So they know what's original and what isn't. Apparently, there's something about Phil's article that is tripping off the alarm.

If the article was indeed 100% original like Phil says, that means EZA has a problem with the article's quality.

    Yes, it's allowed.

How do I know? Because I just had an article titled, The Seduction of Internet Marketing Newbies accepted by EZA. Not only did I publish that article on my own website first, it was also published by SiteProNews, and many other sites, before I submitted it to EZA.

It was a great article, too. David's too modest to post the link here, so I will:

The Seduction of Internet Marketing Newbies

(One comment: I didn't think much of Mike Mertz's im4newbies site - the forum was largely a place for using your signature for backlinks and rather spammy. I spent nearly an hour there last night, and really didn't get anything of value out of it. Otherwise, there were some good resources and terrific viewpoints in David's article.)

Thanks for the compliment, Jeanette - and for posting the link to my article.

The reason I didn't post the link is because it would have been blatant self-promotion - and that's against forum guidelines.

Oh, this is great to know. I didn't know that Ezine Articles are cleaning out. I have quite a few articles there but have not submitted any since March 2009, and have been thinking I will write more, but I hadn't gotten to it. I see all my articles are still there, thank goodness!

I suspect the other mega article directories will soon follow suit, and start cleaning out their garbage articles.

Nope! One quality article published on an authority site trumps 50 articles published on non-authority sites.
