Default Tips to market Affiliate Products

    Hi Guys,

Can anyone who reads this thread give me the 1 tip they use to market affiliate products effectively on their blog?

To sell the products you are promoting on your blog it all comes down to marketing...so what marketing strategies do you use to convert visitors to your site into sales?

    Cheers.

Well the first thing is to make the blog post worth reading. If no one finishes reading you likely won't make any sales.

Once you have that article posted on your blog you need to create another article that is unique of course and get it published on the top article directories. But make it unique for each article directory.

You coud create each article pointing out a benefit of your product so that you have unique anchor text pointing back to your blog post.

Do that with the top article directories, about 9 or 10 and you are golden.

Each article has to be worth reading so your reader will reach the bottom of the article where you link is.

My #1 tip would be to do product reviews. I also have done one case study and it was a big hit as far as affiliate product sales.

I am just learning how to make affilaite sales with my blog: Lynn is a great example in action. If you follow her blog carefully, you'll learn all the ways you can do it.

For example, she always shares her thoughts about products she uses, even if they are not the best (which is when she can suggest an alternative). She creates excitement, and builds up interest, so you WANT to hear what she has to say.

Again, follow her carefully and you'll know her secrets.

I agree with Adriana. Lynn is an expert at this, and one of the reasons is that she is honest about her opinions and creates credibility long-term with her readership.

    Sure Jeanette!

I did a case study on a fitness dvd called the 30 day Shred and you can find all the posts in the 30 Day Shred category on my blog. All I did was share my experience with the workout throughout the 30 days, plugged it with affiliate links, etc. It wasn't easy though because I had to keep up with it on a regular basis and made a few mistakes along the way but still did pretty well from it.

    Hope this helps!
