Adsense ads in every post?

Hi Guys,

What are people's thoughts in putting adsense in every post on your blog?

Do you think it makes the blog look overly commercialized which will cause people to exit from the site?

Where do other people place adsense ads on their site?

Usually people with blogs will have the code added right into their theme so that it appears in the top left of every post. That's fine and doesn't look spammy unless they also add other adblocks until it does start to look spammy.

Those spammy looking sites do turn me off and I usually just leave without taking the time to read as I see them spammy and looking aweful.
