WordPress NextGEN Gallery plugin?

I notice a lot of portfolios are done in Lightbox. Also Studiopress has a portfolio-type theme called Black Canvas. This theme lets you put text next to each graphic.

The plugin has a separate dashboard where you upload images and configure the pages. You give the "album" or "gallery" a name and then include a link to the gallery in your blog page.

Yes. You can drop the code onto any page or post. If it is on a page, the page can be in your NAV menu.
