Thread: Should I take the holiday month off?

It sounds like you answered your own question

Last December was a record month for me, even with two major holidays and a two-week trip to Australia. If you are not yet earning "passive income" I would definitely continue towards that goal.

There is still plenty of time to capitalize on last minute shopping this month and so I would focus on those holiday promotions for sure. I am also busy closing out the year and planning for a kick-start in 2010...

Well you better get busy Alex LOL

There's still plenty you can do but it requires a little more of a hustle of course.

Okay, I confess... after this week, I'm going to ratchet WAY down, and go on a maintenance plan until the new year. My husband will be home (been away for THREE weeks), our Sailor is taking an eleven day leave, and our oldest will be home, too. So I have to get ready for Papa Noel and cook. (And cook and cook and cook.)

This is my favorite part of internet marketing - the flex time.

Ditto - I love that part myself

I'm gearing up for a heavy travel schedule in the first quarter, so wrapping things up now and working on my outsourcing plan for a low-stress travel spree!

LOL, we're competitors then - wonder if LED lights will be the big seller this year?

    Might be Henrik who knows?

I have only just started and it is really late for a Xmas site but I was not interested in excuses so I just started last saturday.

    Why not cooperate?

You might be going after different keywords - I can't even remember if LEDs are on my keyword list - I'm doing a small site more or less along the lines of InfoProductKiller, except that I'm using a blog.

    Happy Christmas Henrik!!

I'm in the midst of wrapping up an ebook about traveling with kids.

Do you think Dec 17 is too late to promote it, should I shoot for Dec 14th?

I think work has to be a balance or projects currently happening NOW and projects that are being developed for the FUTURE- it's a great time for both!

I wouldn't even dream of taking the month of December off but then again December is usually one of my busiest if not the busiest month of my year.
