Which program is it that you use to auto-follow, Nicole?

How do you efficiently organize people you follow..it's hard enough keeping up with a few?

TweetDeck. I sort my followers into Groups on TweetDeck, depending on topic, interest, etc...

I also have columns in my TweetDeck where I monitor search phrases/keywords.

    Hey Cori,
That looks more powerful than what I've been using. You have an aff link for it? I'll test it out and see what I think.

    Lynn,
I've tried several and most are pretty stinkin' awful. I like Hummingbird the best of the ones that I've used, but, honestly, I think you'd be happier just finding a competitor and clicking "follow" quickly down their follower list. (Or have Angie do it for you so that she follows 50-100/day.) It takes only a few minutes/day and "feels better" than using Hummingbird.

As for autofollowing back those who follow me, I've been using the free version of TweetLater.com which is now renamed to SocialOomph.com I set it up to autofollow people who follow me and meet certain criteria (like their account is older than 7 days, etc) - so I don't follow back spammy accounts. I haven't manually followed anyone back for over a year. It's just done for me.

    Hope that helps!

    Hey Cori,

Looks like I already had a free account linked to my Twitter ID. I still clicked through your link before I signed in. I'll upgrade to test and hopefully you'll get credit.

How much would you charge to update my settings? And, I'm assuming I need to turn off SocialOomph before you start?

    Thanks!

I played with it yesterday, and I like how I've got it set up - VERY conservatively.

I would gladly show you my configuration to see if you have suggestions.

I'll email you with my login so you can take a look.

    Thanks.

Welcome Cori and thank you! I'm also going to use your link - sounds perfect

I may take you up on your offer as well, but would love to send you a 'tip' at least for taking the time. I'll be in touch!
