    Lightbulb How to get the word out about my Holiday gift for Moms?

    I had an illustrator create this for me:



    I know it's short notice- but what would be the best way to get the word out to other mom list-owners about this gift, so they can give the gift to their list?

    Additionally- I'd love to create an opt-in form, whereby I'll capture the names and emails of everyone who wants this gift- is that a good idea, or is it better to just "be giving", and to give the direct url to the pdf?

    I had it created in 8x10" and 5x7" - 2 popular sizes for photos, so people can print, stick it in a frame, and have an instant gift for themselves, their sister or friend!

    The best way to get the word out would be to go to mom related forums and find their special offers section and post your offer there. Now as far as the direct url vs an opt in form it depends on what your goal with this giveaway is. If you're trying to build a list, then you want to ask people to opt in with an email address. If you just want to be giving, then use the url. I do think you'll get more people interested in accepting your gift if they don't have to give an email address. Just my two cents.

    My blog and email list are not particularly mom focused but I know a lot of moms are on it and read my blog so I'd love to blog about it.

    I think I'm going to go with the opt-in method. I'm working on it now and will post it shortly.

    I also added some sports equipment, so it applies to moms of older kids as well!
