Default If you had to Start Over Today

If you had to Start Over Today, and needed to get your Income up as fast, which way would you go, Affiliate Program sales, Creating your own products, or what??? I only ask this because my day job has went bye bye along with my spouse. Not to much out there at this point in jobs in my area ether.

At this point I'm running on what savings I had, along with some small freelance work at this time. Luckily, due to a bank error my spouse only wiped out the checking when she left. So depending on the rate the attorney needs more money and other bills, I am holding on as best I can.

The funny thing is I know how to do a lot of things, on and offline. You know how it is when you go through a divorce, your mind can lock up, and loose direction.

    What do you think?

    Hi Mike,

    Sorry about your difficulties.

There's really no one way to make a lot of money. All the things you mentioned- affiliate sales and creating your own product would work- done correctly, over time.

Do you have any sites or blogs that are already out there?

    Any specific passions?

    Best,

    Ellen

    Hello all,

My question stemmed from a question to Lynn, during the last Tuesday Webinar. She ask me to post my question here on the forum. That's why I worded it that way.

I do understand that most online businesses take time to grow, but I also know that some have a much quicker growth rate.

And I figured with Lynn being a veteran of Internet Business, she might have a thought as to what direction she would go in, if she had to start in today's Internet.

I have a lot of Internet technical background, and offline brick & mortar business background. But most of what I have done online, has been to dabble while learning, mostly pocket change.

I just need direction and focus at this point, so I was hoping to get some ideas from Lynn and all of you hear at the forum.

    Mike

PS I'm trying to find my passion, I'm sure it will come to me after finishing up with all the attorneys and junk that comes with divorce.

What kind of Internet technical background, Mike?

Can you write up a couple of reports, do some Camatacia videos regarding your skills and sell that product?

Have ever heard of Dennis Waitley. In his book the Psychology of Winning, he said there were all kinds of "Wondering, Educated Generalities in the world"

At this point I now know what he meant.

You see, just about everything you see being done on the Internet, on the tech side. I have no problem doing. I just don't have a direction.

My normal day job, is very saturated in my area. Which makes it difficult to get any volume of work. And I would like to be able to have more freedom and stability. Sorta like Lynn

Who would have thought, the computer field would become saturated, and turn into a commodity.

Funny, I just bought a product called "How to build your child's self esteem" by Waitley!

Why not list your top 10 skills and so some keyword research to see which are the most popular?

Take the top 5 ideas, do a google search on those topics, and check out all the paid and organic results.

Make a note of each one, and ask yourself, "what can I offer people that would be BETTER than this?"

My simple answer: short reports, building a niche mailing list, with blog. I would do that as an affiliate, using the report and list and blog to recommend specific products to a specific market.

There is one $7 investment I highly recommend - it's what got me started with this method, and it has paid off royally ever since! See: http://www.clicknewz.com/writereports.htm

    Thank you Lynn,

    Great advice.

I grabbed a copy of Write Reports and will read it this afternoon.

I've also been using some of the advice from the other members, so far what I knowledgeable about is pretty competitive.

Who would think there would be so much information about computers on the Internet.

But, I'm still working on finding the best 5 ideas.

I will keep you advised as to my progress, and will keep checking here for more advice to work with.

I Greatly appreciate all of your help

    Mike
