Affiliate Applications to Amazon, CJ, etc

Sometime ago it was mentioned in the Tuesday forum what NOT to check on affiliate applications as to how you plan to market. I am ready to apply to several places and cannot remember what it was. Thanks!

Thanks - you are right on - I just found my notes from that Tuesday session and my notes state "do not check incentive or email marketing"!

Lots of merchants are scared of PPC competition so they don't like YOU doing PPC -but you are probably not doing ppc anyhow.

Ordinary SEO is good enough - free traffic. And some merchants reject you automatically and if you are very keen just email them and introduce yourself - that will usually get you accepted.

Thanks Alex! I did get accepted by Amazon. Now I have to apply to some more. I am on Inactive status with CJ so will try to get re-activated.
