Caroline Middlebrook has a program all about using StumbleUpon to drive traffic. There's a paid version, but the free version will be enough to give you the pros and cons, and teach you how to do it without getting banned.

I loooove StumbleUpon. I've gotten traffic boosts of as much as 13K or more per month due to them.

The thing with SU is just like anything else. Don't try to game it. Add value. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

I teach about it in www.OutsourceWeekly.com and have a quick quide about the topic that I've used as a bonus, too. Is there a specific question you have? Let me know.

StumbleUpon is my fave and I stumble sites all the time out of my own enthusiasm - that means I build up a proper account and get traffic to from my stumble account.

That's all - just use it like a genuine forum account and you will get traffic. If you use clever ninja tricks from Nicole you will get even more traffic

lol @ Alex! "clever ninja tricks" - love it!

There's really not much too Stumble Upon as Alex said. Just start Stumbling your best stuff and other people's stuff, too. Ask friends to Stumble your best stuff on occasion and stumble theirs, too. And, remind your readers to Stumble your stuff, too, by using Sociable or one of the other plugins that makes it one-click easy to recommend you from any page on your site.

I definitely use Stumble Upon and just for the fun of it I just used the Stumble Upon button on the bottom of this thread and Stumbled it!

    Great for finding content too!

I am a Stumble Upon fan too. While I have tried many social bookmarking sites, this one is my favorite. It brings me plenty of free traffic as well as some entertainment when I am bored. I like that you can surf sites of your favorite members.
