Default Lynn, Where have you been all my life

Okay, more like where have you been the last 5 years. Or I wish I had found you 5 years ago when I first started blogging.

I have been listening to podcasts on internet businesses and came across yours and loved your personality and frankness. I am so ready to start that naturally I don't know where to start.

Like I said I have been blogging for a while at kidscattleblog which hasn't been updated for some time. But I did do quite a bit of tweaking the extras there. I now have biggreencombine blog and our farm website that I maintain. As you can see nothing is monetized yet. I believe I have a good niche to start with but realize I should do some market and keyword research.

So basically I am introducing myself and would like any suggestions on where to go from here. Looking forward to getting to know y'all on the forum.

Welcome Judi! Glad to have you here.

The best place to begin would be Lynn's blog post on How to Make Money Online (For Beginners). I know you're not a beginner but it has some links to things that will be helpful for you as well.

The only thing I would recommend is that if you truly want to monetize and make your blog part of your business that you definitely get a domain and paid hosting and use a hosted blog, Wordpress.org. Blogger has been known to delete and say oops your blog is gone over the years and since it's not your domain you can't do anything about it. That would be my 1st and most important suggestion.

You could leave your current blog as is and start by adding a fresh new blog on to your farm website. Then from your old blogspot blog you can redirect RSS and readers to the new one once it's set up.

    Hope this helps!
