What do you use for FTP?

I am still using an FTP client I started using back in the 90's, then called Windows Commander, now called Total Commander. I need to know what everyone else is using & recommending so that I can create a simple FTP tutorial (unless someone wants to offer ).

What FTP client are you using?

I'm glad you are doing a tutorial Lynn - this is a big problem for Newbies and it took me ages to learn how to do something I now do in a couple of seconds!

Filezilla is the first ftp that worked for me and is what I use now.

I use FileZilla as well. The price is right (free) and I find it pretty easy to use.

I've been using CyberDuck for Mac. Works great, but has the One Window at a time kind of UI. I'm actually looking to get a "Paid" ftp program coz I'm afraid "CyberDuck" is going to spoil me and keep me stupid (FTP-stupid that is) because it is so easy, one could easily overthink it.

However, I'm still not yet comfortable with the technology now that I have more than just 2 or 3 blogs/sites I'm trying to maintain.

I also use Cyberduck for Mac. I've tried a bunch, but keep coming back to the duck. It works great and it's free.

Shannon - I believe it was 2 weeks ago today. It may have been to an older address, or got caught in a spam filter.

Checking in to give my input re: FTP.

I also use FileZilla. And have been for about three years...well, not everyday three years, but whenever I need it.

It was suggested to me when I initially needed an FTP, and it has stuck.

I also like the cost (free).
