James - how did anyone click on the link if you did not promote it? Was it a simple word or phrase that people could simply type into the address bar without seeing your link?

You could start a blogger blog or Squidoo lens and promote it there...

    Hi Alex,

I only used keywords in my domain forwarding after i search what keywords ppl search at adwords keywords tool
I am really really lucky to made $400 within 2 months but now my well is dry!

  4. Default How to promote affiliate products

The following article isn't specifically about how to promote affiliate products, but it is about getting traffic and I think could help as well:

Now you really have me interested James. I have used domain fording but I don't get what you mean when you say, "I only used keywords in my domain forwarding"

    Where do the keywords go?

If we are using the same terminology...let's give an example of what I mean. Suppose I buy two versions of a domain name - the dot biz and the dot com and I set up the dot biz domain name so that if some one types it in to the address bar they end up on the dot com.

That's is what I mean by domain forwarding.

    So what do you mean?

If you made $400 once you can do it again - let's tweak this technique what ever it is eh?

    :-)

    Hi Alex

I placed the keywords, description and title at domain forwarding masking.
That's all i did and if anyone goes to my domain name it will direct them to
    my hoplink

The sells kept coming for 2 months Alex
    My site is http://www.energyforgreen.com/

You know, there's an old report called "The Embarassingly Simple Way I Grabbed the #1 Spot in Google, Yahoo, & AOL" from way back in 2002 that essentially talked about something similar to what you experienced, although I assumed it didn't work anymore - maybe it can still work on a short-term basis.

OK so the site making the sales is the clickbank sales page http://earth4energy.com and you forwarded your domain http://energyforgreen.com through your affiliate link to the sales page.

I just looked at the adwords keyword tool and your phrase "energy for greem" turns up 3,600 times per month.

And someone is promoting the phrase "energy for green" and using your trick to forward that domain!!!

it looks like you are piggy backing off their efforts James.

Take home lesson here is to use the encouragement of the $400 and build something of your own because your windfall is really a lucky strike!!

Do you have a hosting account James?

Definitely agree here. It's nice that you lucked into a success like this early on.
