I see that happening a lot too, and I think it's mostly just people don't realize they can change the settings to include their own @name.

Oh yes, that drives me crazy. I have sent messages to numerous people when I see them using it "wrong" a couple (pretty prominent bloggers) have gotten kind of aggravated with me ~ but come on ~ it's a simple thing to get your name out there!! Why would you want to give the plug to tweetmeme?

Yeah, Jackie - it was funny - somebody called out Shawn Collins for it on Twitter when they posted the link to Drew's post. He was cool about it, though. But he is a nice guy.

I just set that up on my blog too (love how easy it was, I hate stuff that doesn't "fit" well with the blog design). Of course I had to test it out, and I think that's something we forget to do sometimes with plug ins like that. It was right from the start.

Of course since you brought it up I had to go check again, but yes I was using it right hehe.

I have to admit that I have no idea about tweetmeme. It is one of those things that I keep saying I need to learn about, but haven't. Enlighten me o wise ones!
