I notice my RSS feeds from WordPress blogs end with "/feed". Your feed ends with "/rss.xml". So it looks like you'll loose the feed readers if you move it. I'm not going to say there isn't a way to convert/forward it, but I don't know of one. You could give feed readers a link to the new feed, but you'd loose quite a few I'm sure. I guess this demonstrates the value of an external feed management system like Feedburner.

Stefani - I am not a blogging expert - there are plenty of them in the forum already - but I think all this is doable. The link you gave lead me to a 404 page so maybe your link was dubious.

Clicking around on your blog it all looks doable really. The crucial thing is to get your permalinks right and properly redirected which is easily done with a plugin.

The feed might be more problematic - I think blogger uses a type not used in WP.

if that is the case start building your email list with freebies and perhaps email coupon codes rather than publishing them on your blog

I already created a new blog yesterday in Wordpress. I thought I might as well get a head start on this. Just for fun I went to the setting to check out the Import tool. That import tool says you have to have a blogger blog that has the new layout or custom domain which I don't.

My luck is all bad with this situation. One good thing though is I am really liking the way my new blog design is coming along.

Here is the link to the new blog:

    Not at all!

What happens if you just import anyway?

    BTW

    Gorgeous design

    Thanks Angie,

Now if only I could get my darn permalinks to work right. I am having such a tough last couple days I tell you.
