    Sonatanna what sofware are you using for your site. Wordpress? It would help if you added your link here too.

    Are you trying to put this html code within content or on a sidebar?

    This process can be pretty confusing for a newbie. For one thing, the affiliate code can come in different forms. It must be placed into the HTML code of the page. To do this from WordPress's entry editor, click the HTML tab above the buttons (next to the Visual tab, which is probably where you are). Look through this code for where your code needs to be placed, than paste it in.

    To place just a text link on your page from an affiliate code can sometimes be a bit tricky. You need just the direct link code. Sometimes they give you this, but (such as with Amazon) it's surrounded by extra code that isn't really needed. If you can identify the URL withing the code, you can usually just copy it alone and use that.

    While it's not necessarily to we a web programmer to use WP, it's a very good idea to have some familiarity with how HTML works. There are plenty of places on the web to use for reference. Here's a link to a free online course I recommend you find time to take: w3schools.com.

    Hi Wade Watson

    Here it is . This is the code in HTML. Now could you guide me. Whether the full thing i put it on top or below of the HTML code of the page.

    <!-- Begin Affiliate Code -->
    <a href='http://www.progressivehealth.com/Affiliate/redir.asp?afid=2016&pid=2'>Thyax</a>
    <!-- End Affiliate Code -->

    Sonatanna,
    I'm still a tad confused but we'll get you through this.

    OK, try only using the line in the middle that starts with <a href=

    Is this going into a blog post that you are writing?

    Just trying to get an idea as to where you want to put this link and what the goal is with it.

    Sure. If you paste that code into the WP editor under the HTML tab, it will put the word "Thyax" on the page with your affiliate link attached to it. Just look through the HTML version of your copy for the point where you want to insert it. Give it a try.
