You're trying to skip to the advance class a bit quick, Sontanna. I suggest doings as I stated first, then click the Preview button and see if you've mastered placing a text link, first. Then, we can and image link...

Now, this can be done pretty easily in WordPress. But first, go to your affiliate source site where you can see the image you want. right-click it. In the drop-down, click Properties (assuming you use Windows). You'll now see a dialog with the location of the graphic. Highlight it, and click CTRL-C on your keyboard (or Edit-Copy at the top of your browser). Now back in WP, at your Post Editor, make sure the tab at top is on the Visual view. Click to place the cursor in your copy where you want the image. Click the little rectangle right beside "Upload/Insert". This brings up the box for image insertion. Click "From URL" tab, then copy in your image location in the box. At the bottom, you can paste in the URL for your affiliate link. This is only the part of your that code you showed us before that starts with "http:". Don't include any parentheses. Then close the box and your good.

    Hi Wade Watson

I have yet to try out your strategy,Wade.
In the meanwhile i have got another problem
I want to to make my Home Page static. But when i go to the option "Setting, Reading"
i do not find that option. Is it because i have stored all my pages to Draft and not yet published them or else there is some other problem?

I think the site looks very good. Your images fit well and have their links as they should. The only thing I see that you might want to tweak would be the site contact links in the footer. They do not seem to go anywhere. It is always a good idea to set up pages for contact and so forth because these help the visitor feel more comfortable and search engines probably give brownie points for them, too. I'm not sure how your theme is designed, though, and it might take some code work to get the links there. There's no rush for that right now. I suggest you keep learning and take care of such details as you go.

I see you've got The All-in-One SEO plug, which is a good idea. If you haven't seen the thread elsewhere on essential WP plugins, check it out. I put my list there, too:
WordPress Plug-ins -- What do you use and favor???

Keep showing it around, but I've seen far worse sites that were making people money. Good luck.

I prefer to cloak links using the HTML method, which requires some coding and setting up of a subdomain or folder outside of the WordPress files. This might be a bit complicated for a beginner, but if you Google "HTML redirect", you'll find plenty of tutorials. There's an easier way to do a redirect that will cost a bit of money. I know Lynn redirects this way sometimes and it's probably the most efficient redirect. You go to your domain hosting service (like Godaddy), register a new domain, then set it up as forwarded domain. This only takes a few clicks and box-checks. You don't have to spend $10 registering an .com, either. Godaddy will let you register a .info domain for only $1.This is fine for a redirect. It's probably best to register a name that relates to your product to some degree. Member jamessamy recently explained how he set one up here: Is domain forwarding the rite way!.
He accidentally got lucky and had some traffic after just registering the redirect. Most people have to promote it, though. Once you've registered the redirect domain, you just replace your affiliate link with this new domain link.

You may have to copy the link separately. Right click on the anchor text (in Windows) and click "Properties". This will show a dialog with the link. Highlight just the link, then click copy (or CTRL-C). You can now create a link from that URL. In WordPress, you just highlight the text to anchor, click the link button and paste it in.
