Default Core Influence - Frank Kern

    Hi Folks

Well I am about half way through Franks video 'Core Influence', have you watched it? You can see it free here

In the first 20 minutes he outlines the evolution of 6 and 7 figure product launches, mentioning names like Jeff Walker, Mike Filsaime and John Reese. It made me wonder if it is only men in IM that are prepared to take that leap of faith, what are your thoughts?

Now he is onto the premise of Core Influence and it did really speak to me, if you were on brainstorming hour today you would know that I am in a transition phase (again) and so this content was prevalent. I hadn't really thought about a surface influence and a core influence before, but it is really making me think about who I want to be when I grow up (LOL) and more to the point what I want my IM business to be, Frank calls this your core self. Many of us never actually show it to anyone. Do you know what your core self is yet? I will be having a looka t mine tonight as Lynn suggested too.

I haven't finished watching thanks to the kids But I look forward to your thoughts.

I am still waiting for my confirmation email, yet I have Core Influence on DVD and it is awesome. I was going to come over here and post the link, since I told Lynn about it and suggested she watch it.
It is great that Frank is giving it away for free now. If you have not seen it I highly recommend you go watch it here.

    Hi Leigh,

I have watched core influence twice and plan to watch it again probably this week.
It has changed my opinion on what I want in my life.
    office at the beach.
    tumbled marble tile in bath.
View from the house of water.
    No worry about money.
It is super awesome. It is true you cannot get something with out knowing what it is.
But as Mark Joyner says if you stare at a glass of water and think real hard about it getting in your mouth, it does not work. You have to lift the glass and take a sip so pure LOA is not a reality in my mind with out effort.

It is about the most beneficial video I have ever seen.
Another great video for free has me dancing on stage at Mass Control in San Diego, to get the 45 minute Jason Moffatt presentation. go sign up at JasonMoffatt.com and it is free also. It is really good and a motivator also. I was nervous to go on stage not knowing what to expect and am so glad I did. He did a great job of motivating us and telling a story of rags to riches.

Hey Leigh, thanks for the link.

I had not noticed it - I'm pretty much in "head down, paddling like hell" mode !!

I'll watch this a bit later. Meanwhile your question struck me...

It made me wonder if it is only men in IM that are prepared to take that leap of faith, what are your thoughts?

You mean big launches or something else?

You have to be in the network of the big hitters to GET a big launch because they leverage the big lists of major players in I.M. From all the photos we see of "The guys" at one seminar after another - it does seem like a relatively small club that support each others launches like crazy.

But there are tons of others quietly making a lot of money and you'll never hear of them going to Vegas or whatever. I think it's lifestyle choice

    Best Wishes

    Alex

I wish more women would get out front .. I personally think women cut through all the crap and give you what is needed to make a difference in your tasks.

    Thanks Tom

for the endorsement for women who cut the crap....that is pretty much my style most of the time....

sometimes gentle encouragement is necessary...because you can see that the person is not ready to hear what they need to hear...

Interesting points you make. When you watch the video you will see what I mean. And I was discussing this with a friend last night and we concluded that men primarily take the leap of faith and go for the big launches where women often start to over think things and ask themselves is this what I really want to work on ... I'll leave that with you

But I wanted to add that when you watch the video make sure you are paying attention to the sign up process it is soooo sweet and not in a cutsie kind of way. I have already suggested this process to a friend of mine launching a new teddy bear site. And am working on how I can use it myself.

    Hi Leigh -

Re: men and big IM launches - It's an interesting point. There are more men in internet marketing over all (as pointed out many times at the #30dchome conference here in Melbourne.) It was a big deal that the audience was 50% women.

The other thing is that its all about what you seek. Do you seek money or satisfaction or fame or something entirely different?
As has been previously mentioned, you can make a lot of money without a big famous launch. If you seek fame, then it seems like you'll need to get into an inner circle of big IM names so when you do launch a product, you have these "big guns" promoting with you.

My guess is that some of these guys are trying to compete with other "big guns" in the industry. They're trying to out-do one another with one big launch after another. As far as I'm concerned, they can battle it out while we quietly earn a fortune without seeking the limelight.

I agree Jen and I think some guys get a big kick out of the competitive nature of trying to outsell each other. Nothing I aspire to.
