You don't need to submit your site to Google but since you already have that's fine.

As for more backlinks, you can do a ton of things. I did a search on Lynn's Clicknewz.com blog for backlinks and there are a lot of great blog posts you can read through for ideas.

• Submit your RSS feed to the RSS aggregators.
• Write some articles and submit them to the 100's of article directories out there.
• Socially bookmark your site.
• Submit your site to directory lists.
• Comment on blog posts
• Create a signature on your profile and participate in message forums.

That should be enough to keep you busy for a little bit.
