Arrow Let's Talk - Where Are You With Your Online Business?

I'm curious how things are going with your online business.

Take a second to choose one of the 3 options from the poll above, and then hit reply and tell us a bit about where you are and what you're challenged with - or what success you're seeing - with your online business.

I've been traveling non stop for the last couple of months, and I'd love to just take five and catch up with you a bit!

    Hi Lynn,

I could really relate to what you said about feeling disconnected. I have had the same issues with my email list and websites. People are buying products and it's "rocking along" but I don't get to see people progress from one stage to another. To hear about their successes. That is one reason that I'm scaling back and going to start doing some consulting.

    Lynn,
What a great email. I felt like you were really connecting with me as a person. I am finding in this business it's all about building relationships. Looking forward to learning & working with you this next year.

    Hey Lynn,

A very thoughtful email. I can relate to what you are saying here and you are right. Being in touch with your market is so incredibly important.

As for the three choices, I'm somewhere just short of the really rocking it, making great money and having fun since I started my offline consulting business. Things are great but I need to learn to prioritize and set up some systems for myself that will help me to do even better. It is so much fun and at the same time a bit overwhelming how quickly my business is growing.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say how grateful I am to this 'tribe" of yours and particularly it you. I am in the position I'm in because of you and the regular encouragement I get from the group. I'm not sure what's coming next but I know you'll be on top of it and keeping me (and all the rest of those who follow your guidance) informed with valuable information we can use in our businesses. Thank you for that!

In appreciation for all you do,

    Leigha

Thank you Mike. It's really great to get both of your replies. This 'disconnect' has made me feel like I'm talking to the wind sometimes -lol . And Sandra, I can relate to that. Consulting is a great way to create a solid connection. It can be hard to scale in regards to a business model, but I am leaning towards doing some of that myself for the very same reason.

I am completely restructuring my business at the moment. There are several things I really miss. Making a real difference with those that are seriously ready to take an online business to the next level... and working on my own affiliate sites. That last one sounds silly, huh? I'm an affiliate marketer at heart

I'm taking on a team to help me pull it all off. I am really looking forward to taking things up a notch and getting back in full swing!

Thanks for asking, Lynn. A total newbie, I have three new sites (one affiliate connected to two blogs) since the first of the year. They're not making money yet, and they have about 30 subscribers (mostly friends and family). I am loving the learning part, more every day. Not so sure that what I'm learning is exactly what I NEED to be learning, though. So, I just create more blogs and links, answer comments, wait and soak up information. Luckily, I'm not depending on this new enterprise to put food on the table -- yet.

    Hey Michael,

    What do you?

I know we talk a lot about "serving your market" and how that creates a successful, profitable business. But we rarely talk about this other side of it - what it means to US as the market leader in each of our niches...

Love that you guys are pitching in with thoughts & replies!

    Lynn,
I have set up my whole blog, and I did it on Wordpress.com instead of Wordpress.org, so I am starting all over again. My Title Business keeps getting in the way of my IM business, and I am frustrated with that, but I am still committed to pushing ahead. I think if I could make even $ .10, I would be more aggressive with it. I was going to join your Elite group awhile back, but it was full. I'm out here, though, and I attend on Tuesday when I don't have a closing. Sincerely, ShariLee
