One way to see if there is a market for something, is to look in amazon for related books. If there are a few books on the subject, you can see the sales rank, and odd are people buy them.

If there is a market for the books, it usually indicates people will buy an ebook for considerably more.

But like Lynn says, if thats what you like, go for it, and the money will work its self out.

Russell your the best..Ok I went to amazon and looked it up..for instance one book sold 57,775 copies..and another one sold 275,000 copies would that be...good or bad?

Now we also use clickbank to see the Gravity of the product and was told if its over 100 it could be a good one to sell..However on our niche there are very few with a high gravity and referal rate....

Is it an info product niche - or a physical product niche? Does it lend better to reaching people who buy ebooks, or who buy real tangible products?

for our site it would be both tangable and ebooks and informational as well...

well Lynn we changed our theme and wont be doing Swimming unfortunately not enough to blog about and not alot we can monitize....However we are going to use my husband's 1st idea and see how this goes..It will be a blog all about business and marketing..money/careers and entrepreneurship and we will be offering affiliate ebooks and hopefully newsletters etc...Looking into affiliate marketing programs as well as we dont want to bank all our eggs on 1 business...The biggest dilemma right now is a new domain name...which we cant seem to find one that would compliment our blog...
