    Default Also considering Elite Membership

Hi there - like some other people who have posted, I too am considering the Elite Membership and have a couple of Q.
I'm based in the UK and wonder if this is a consideration? Secondly, I'm green, real green....grin..and wonder perhaps if it may be better to start with just this Forum. What do you think as a newbie I could get out of either?
Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

    Caroline,
I have run across quite a few people overseas in the elite forum so you'll fit right in. The only thing that might be an issue would be the weekly webinar so the timing may not work however you would get the replay as an elite member. In this blog post, Lynn mentions that she'll be closing down the main forum this week and is undecided if she'll be reopening it.

I would say grab elite while you can understanding that you can leave at any time if you don't feel it's for you. I think it would be a great place for a newbie to start because you can be held accountable to get things done (if you want to be) and you have a lot of successful people to learn from in the elite group.

Please let me know if you have more specific questions, I would be happy to answer them. I have been in the elite group from the beginning and my life has changed! I learned about focus, I have made great strides with my business, made great connections with others in and out of my niche and the list goes on.

Also if you haven't already used someone's link to the elite group, you can find mine in my signature below. Thank you!

    Caroline,

You said you're green. Are you ready to go too? That is, are you ready to start a site and learn by doing? If yes, this would be a good place to do that.

I'm a "gray", that is, been working online a long time. I've seen lots and lots of experts and forums etc, and feel I'm qualified to offer an independent and objective opinion.

Here's a little tip. A lot of people who join membership sites don't actually use the information they learn. It's just a fact of life on the Net, and too long a story for this post.

So, before you buy the good advice available here, you might ask yourself if you're going to use it. If yes, again, this is a good choice. This is a friendly helpful place, and Lynn knows her stuff.

PS: This forum is also more "women friendly" than many webmaster forums, which have a tendency to sometimes be dominated by guys.

    Best of luck!

Hey everyone - I'm tempted by the elite forum too. I only just discovered SSWT properly and I can't believe it might be closing down soon!

I've checked out the 'sales' page but I'm interested in the value the members get from the group. Is it a place where you stop by each and every day and learn something new? Is it a support group that you can count on to help you run your business?

This online stuff can be quite lonely at times and sometimes you need someone else in the know to bounce ideas off and to make sure you're headed in the right direction. Can I get that kind of support from the Elite group?

The Elite group is definitely all the things that you mentioned (and more!), Clare! Whether it's a new site you're working on, one page of your site that you are working on, or even just a new affiliate campaign, you can freely discuss it in the Elite forum as the search engine spiders don't crawl it - and get tips, advice, first impressions, etc - to help you out in accomplishing your goals.

The monthly challenge has been a great new motivator for me, too - although I haven't even done all of them.

And sometimes, working on all this stuff can get just plain frustrating and I (you) might hit a wall and come in and share that and get all the encouragement I need!

There are people from all walks of life, all different types of skillsets, all different types of business backgrounds (or no biz background, really - like me) so you will find that you can get all kinds of advice - from an accountant to an engineer to a life coach and more....

And Lynn will keep you on track to go from start to profit, keeping you focused on your immediate goals, before biting off way too much more than you can chew.

Thanks! I'm extremely tempted and am going to sit down and work out my finances to ensure I can afford it. I figure this is a great investment in helping me really get my business off the ground!

It's value is worth much more so honestly I hope Lynn at least doubles or triples the monthly fee when she opens it back up. The elite group is what you make of it really. Every member has a different reason to be there...some have no business yet, some are making over 6 figures. It's a great group to learn the basics to things that are even way above my head right now ha ha

It's not really a rah rah support group but rather a group that takes action. Sure we encourage and are excited for each others accomplishments but most of us work hard in there and have set some lofty goals.

As far as bouncing daily ideas off each other and brainstorming business stuff sure you could start a thread in the elite group for that but I personally found my accountability partner in the elite group where we do that on a personal level outside of the group.

The elite group has been way more than I could ever imagined. If you are ready to focus and get down to business I would say it's for you.

Let us know if you have more questions!

Do you have $27? If so, decision made. LOL

Seriously, there is so much value in the Elite group that the only thing to consider is whether or not you have the money to sign up. If you do, once you login and look around, all your questions will be answered. You will see that you will get back far more.

Given Lynn is closing membership at the end of month and likely raising the price when she reopens, your decision is a no-brainer, truly!
