Default iPad has Screen Protectors and Skins

I couldn't believe it after today's webinar when I came across these products on Amazon just by chance.
    2 pcs 9.7" Screen Protectors for Apple Ipad 3g Tablet / Wifi Model 16gb, 32gb, 64gb

    $2.04
CrazyOnDigital Black Leather Carrying Case Cover for Apple iPad 3G tablet / Wifi model 16GB, 32GB, 64GB (fits 9.7" display of the iPad) with free Crazyondigital wristband

    $19.99
(6 Color options) MiniSuit Apple iPad skin case for Apple iPad 3G tablet / Wifi model 16GB, 32GB, 64GB with screen protector and MiniSuit Cleaner

    $12.95 - 19.95

Apparently iPad is aware of their design problem as there are a bunch of different products on Amazon in many different price ranges.

Is this really a design flaw or is it clever yet underhanded marketing?

Ouch Poor you, and poor iPad.

I would never had thought that it could slip that easily out of your hands. When I get one, I'll be very careful. Thanks for your warning and your review.

Great Review. It will be interesting to see where this all goes and what you get charged for a new one!

I should know something tomorrow as I have an appointment at the Apple store in Nashville. It would be nice if they would tell me the price over the phone, as it's a 4+ hour detour in my work day to make the trip.

I think I'd ask them over the phone to charge it and ask them to ship it, unless you need it immediately. Oh, my bad, they probably want the damaged one back too. Ask for a return shipping label to return the damaged one once you receive the replacement.

Any updates, Lynn? Could they make you a nice offer?
