    Guys,

Thanks everyone for there comments & opinions on this post I've really enjoyed reading what you all have had to say.

Alex, I think when you say 'Most people just want a nice "safe" 9 to 5 job'. your dead right, Not everyone has the desire or commitment that it does take in order to be successful.

I'm only doing this 'part time' at the moment, however KNOW I will become successful 'okay maybe not multi million air' successful, but successful in some capacity. Working from home 'full time' earning enough money from my online efforts to keep my family in a comfortable environment will do just fine.

At the end of the day, if you have the correct mindset and the determination to carry on through the hard times (of which there will be many) you will be successful in some capacity. It may take years but you will get there.

    Here's to our success.

    Mike.

I know what you are saying about some people not understanding. I have been going through that recently. We are trying to find a house to move into from this small apartment with our 2 boys. On the application you have to put down what you do for a living. So when I say I have my own business and they ask me what I do. I say my primary source is ghostwriting, they all look at me as if to say "oh, that's a creative way to say you are unemployed", or "what is that and how can you possibly say you make a living from that when I don't even know what it is". Either way, it ends up being something no one understand and has resulted in some people thinking we can't afford to rent their home.

This is making me have a stronger desire to work my butt off and find my revenue streams so we can just save up a good downpayment on a home and forget everyone else. lol.

But yes, it takes a certain person I think to be able to have and run a successful business. You have to be able to believe you can do it and push on regardless of what anyone else may say, and you only have to prove things to yourself no one else.

"I say my primary source is ghostwriting,"

Would "journalist" be any better? Or "researcher"?

"This is making me have a stronger desire..."

    Yup - you're entrepreneur material!!

    :-)

    Good luck!

    Alex

Cheers! Here's to your success as well!
