Question On A New Blog, How Many?

On a new blog site, how many links do you go after? And how many articles do you start with?

New site fresh off the presses, am wondering how many on average do YOU work on. Let me know. Thx!

As many links as I can get.

For articles, at least 5 to start. From there, I usually grab another 5-7 from Ezinearticles or somewhere to publish on my site.

    Hi Chickblogger,

I was just on the Problogger site and hope the following
post is helpful. It's titled, "How to Launch a Blog and Have
    Fresh Content for Weeks".

    http://www.problogger.net/archives/2...ent-for-weeks/

Darren recommends having 5 (and better yet 8 to 10) articles
already published on your blog when you launch it.

He also suggests having 5 or so more drafts ready to post
in the first few days after your launch.

    Kind regards,
    Jacqueline

Not to worry, until you have some articles, _and links_, and the engines have had time to index you, you won't have any visitors anyway.

So, just start writing and posting, keep at it, and all's well.

I've learned I am never very clear when I post my questions. My dyslexia is pretty rabid, must work better on it.

I know how to launch a blog, or at least I think I do. lol. I've launched quite a few of them, but mine are not the usual community-based type blogs, they're affiliate blogs.

I asked the question above, because after getting a site of mine sandboxed, it's made me question my methods. Am I starting with too many articles, or too few? Am I getting too many links too fast? Am I getting the wrong link types, etc?

So am just in observation mode, and double checking how I launch a blog. And was wondering how others here do it.

Thanxs for the feedback. Appreciate it.
