Default Are Video Tutorials Viable Products?

Though it isn't the only thing I plan to sell (once I get enough traffic to support selling anything at all), it is kinda the main product in the business plan right now. There will be multiple topics and "series'" based on the needs of certain segments of my target market (musicians vs VO actors vs podcasters vs internet video producers, etc.).

Reading one of Mike's posts yesterday about questions he'd normally ask a prospective client, it just got me thinking back to basics. "do I know what to do with all the traffic if/when I achieve it?"

There will also be affiliate marketing that supports home recording, as well as adsense, and some other products I plan to create and sell, such as royalty-free music and some information products. Again, I'm not yet ready to focus on the selling part yet since I'm not pulling enough traffic.

    Thoughts?

    Cheers!

Go to the Warrior Forum and look through their WSO section. There are tons of video tutorials being sold there.

I'm working on one of my own, so maybe I'm a bit partial here, but yes I would say they work. I haven't decided if I am going to entertain the thought of selling mine or giving it away for list building purposes.

In fact, some might argue that if given the choice between a video or an eBook, most people are going to buy the video.
