This is a tip for those of you that have been doing this for a little while.

I'm someone who maintains sites in many different niches rather than focusing on just one or two. I prefer to have lots of sites, each making at least a little bit of money, than to have one site trying to make a lot of money.

Every now and then I find myself struggling to find a new niche to jump into. I'll hit the mall looking for the latest trends. I'll pick up some magazines. Sometimes I find some good ideas, but then when doing the keyword research I find that it is not going to be profitable.

When I'm really struggling to find something new though, I hit my blogs. Yep, I go into my own sites and sort through the spam comments. Think about it. Right at your fingertips you can see what products others are promoting and specifically what keywords they are targeting. Now, they may or may not have researched the keywords very well. You'll have to do that on your own to verify that it is a good niche. It's such an easy way to get a jumpstart into a niche without having to start from scratch.

Hope that helps someone out there.
