Unless something has changed since I purchased my last domain, 1and1 doesn't charge any extra for private registrations...

I agree to not spend extra when buying a domain.
You can set up all your email accounts at your hosting company in the Cpanel.
I did buy a domain reseller account so I can set up all my clients at my own domain company. I set the prices at my domain company below market so it is a good deal for them.
