Default Ezine articles guru need your help please

    Hello!

I have decided for the time being to focus on ezine articles to get traffic.

I would like advice from experienced marketers (as there are so many conflicting advice) on the following:

1.Apart from Ezine, I will submit the article to Buzzle.com and ArticleBase
(do you recommend submission to more article directories?)

    2. Social bookmarking of the article using onlywire
(do you recommend social bookmarking every single ezine article?)

    3. Once the article has been published on Ezine, can you suggest good uses of the article's URL?

Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I understand that the number of articles published is important, but I would like to leverage/use every article to the maximum.

    Thanks

It depends on your goal for this one. You said you were doing it for traffic, so no probably not. If you are doing it to create backlinks, then yes, I would submit to more directories. Your aritcle has a better chance of being ranked high on the bigger sites like Ezine then the little rinky dink ones, so that is where it will bring you the most traffic from.

As for what to do with the URL of the articles... I would probably bookmark them (and yes each of them), build some links to them, and submit your author RSS feed to some of the RSS aggregators to start.

Thanks for your reply. Basically I am trying to send traffic to a squeeze page. (so I guess it needs to be targeted traffic). OK. so you are recommending to only stick to Ezine articles.

Unfortunately, (still being a newbie) I don't quite understand the second part. OK, so the URL of the articles can be socially bookmarked (twitter, facebook, etc.). Is that what you mean by building links to them?

Author RSS feed... I don't get this part?

    Thanks for your help

For the model you are using, I would probably just post the article to Ezine.

Basically, your SEO efforts are going to be placed towards getting that article ranked in the search engines.

As far as building links, social bookmarking is one way. There are tons of others.

    1. You could write other articles, submit them to article directories with links pointing back to your main article.
    2. You can use directory submission sites.
    3. You can use forum signatures with links.
    4. Forum profiles with links.
    5. Blog commenting.
    6. Take your article, turn it into a video. Submit the video to sites like YouTube, Vimeo, etc. with links pointing back to the article.

    Just to name a few...

RSS is a whole topic on its own. Each author on Ezine has an RSS feed of their articles. It is just like an RSS feed on a blog.

Pretty sure Buzzle requires unique articles. Also, they are not an article directory in the same way Ezine is, meaning people are not allowed to reprint the articles they find there.

You need to get the balance right between promoting your articles and promoting your site.

I get good traffic from Ezine Articles but it is not traffic you can ultimately control.

Why not create your own article repository (for your own articles) on a differnet domain and promote that?
