Thread: Struggling with Focus & Time Management? Free Download...

    Hi Wadeinni,

I would start with the free download and decide from there. I also love Leo's blog at http://www.ZenHabits.net

It sounds like you have entirely too much on your plate at the moment. I've been there, so I can empathize. There was a time in my start-up years that I worked 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. I also had a service based business with clients at that time, which is a great business model - but can be taxing.

Do you have a personal assistant or a VA? Outsourcing may be your next best step. A good exercise to try this week is to keep a Time Log. Just a notepad beside your keyboard is easiest, and keep track of everything you do throughout the day (what takes up your time, and how much). It's VERY enlightening. You'll also see things you could easily outsource, and things you obviously DO need to focus on yourself.

Thank you Lynn that's a tip worth trying. Yesterday was a record for me. I stayed up 27 hours straight partly due to the fact I'm relocating my local business and trying to land a huge new contract with the local government. I visited and bookmarked Leo's blog. Very enlightening reading, even experts can learn from other experts. I have a whiteboard but solely for keeping track of new clients. I tried the notepad method and just like tracking expenses in Quickbooks it's amazing to see where time is lost in my daily activities or could be spent doing other things such as taking care of myself, now there's a concept. Thanks a million, I'm glad I stumbled unto clicknews forum. Been quite helpful thus far.
