Default PayDotCom - Are they good to use for building an affiliate team and are they similar?

I do not wist invest yet on software to manage affiliates and build a team of affiliates what are the alternatives of cheap software or services catering to the affiliate market to allow me to recruit new affiliates and get them paid ?

Are they similar to clickbank...if so how are different or the same or better ?

They are similar to ClickBank in that they both are affiliate portals.

    They differ in several ways:

    - you'll find more affiliates on ClickBank
    - you'll have to pay a fee to get your product accepted at ClickBank
    - you'll get paid to your bank account or by check after 60 days at ClickBank and immediately to your PayPal account with PayDotCom

Another place, you could use, is DigiResults. They are new, and easy to use. They use PayPal and immediate payout.

There is e-junkie and it is very inexpensive like $5 a month.. It allows you to set up affiliates, set the payout and all the cool affiliate stuff. Its a low priced alternative and it gives you a lot of benefits. Even Thesis Themes sold their themes there for ages and just recently moved to shareasale.

I can't say what paydotcom is like these days. I used them several years ago and was not thrilled. I would follow Clay's suggestion to use ejunkie. I've recently started using them and it's very easy. I am also an affiliate of several other programs through ejunkie and although I can't say they are the easiest to use as an affiliate, they aren't the hardest either.
