A while back I came across a sales page which had a delayed buy now button on it, I think it was Ryan Deiss' sales page. If you want to time the button relative to a certain event like a video playing you will need more advanced coding. Also, it's a bit more complicated within Wordpress which can have trouble with scripts. Optimize Press, a Wordpress theme, has this functionality built in. You can also use Mark Hendricks' Presto Chango within an iframe. Admittedly they are not free.
